Economics is for Everyone: Paul Mason – a quick reaction – Post-Crash Economics Society.

I wrote this reaction to Paul Mason’s talk in Manchester on request from the Post-Crash people following some comments I made on the talk via twitter.  He has since clarified that he was not saying that the capitalist economy was de-materialising.  We’ll probably have to await his book (Penguin, September) to explore his thinking in more depth.  My view is that he is generally very perceptive and takes an appropriate ‘line’, but does occasionally, like all of us get things wrong.
